With the Baltimore Ravens' season over, the offseason in full swing, it's time to look back at the 2025 season. Of course, the overall season was disappointing as the Ravens missed the playoffs after entering the year with Super Bowl hopes.

During the offseason, we are going to evaluate how each position group performed, starting with the quarterback room.

Ravens 2025 quarterback grades

Lamar Jackson: B

Lamar Jackson was riddled with injuries, and he didn't have an amazing season by his elite standards. He missed three full games with a hamstring injury and one with a back injury, while often missing days of practice with various injuries.

Nevertheless, he was far more productive than the majority of starting QBs. Jackson recorded 2,549 yards and 21 touchdowns while posting a 103.8 passer rating and a 63.6 completion rate. Furthermore, he led the league in 13.3 yards per completion.

Injuries clearly took a toll on Jackson as he recorded a career low of 349 rushing yards and 26.8 rushing yards per game. He didn't have the same explosiveness as a runner, and he struggled with pressure more than in the past.

Regardless, Jackson still had his moments of brilliance. Two games that stand out are his 238-yard, two-touchdown game in Week 18 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and a 204-yard, four-touchdown game against the Miami Dolphins.

With a new coaching staff, an offseason to return to full health, and possible roster upgrades, there's no doubt in my mind that Jackson gets back to the truly elite standards we've become accustomed to seeing from him.

Cooper Rush: F

There's no sugarcoating this: Cooper Rush was an abject disaster and one of Eric DeCosta's biggest whiffs in recent memory. The Ravens signed Rush to a two-year $6.2 million contract to back up Jackson last offseason. When Jackson went down with an injury in Week 4, Rush took over.

During the two and a half games Rush appeared in, he threw for 303 yards, 0 touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 48.8 passer rating. Rush's lack of mobility made him a poor fit in the Ravens' system, and they learned that the hard way. His three-interception outing in a 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans will be remembered as a low point for the 2025 Ravens.

Rush is a solid backup, but he is an awful fit in the Ravens system, and they should look to trade him this offseason.

Tyler Huntley: A

The Ravens brought Tyler "Snoop" Huntley back in August after he was let go by the Cleveland Browns. Huntley quickly proved he was the perfect backup for Jackson all along. Snoop started for two games (against the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers) and led the Ravens to victory in both of them. He also appeared in games against the Los Angeles Rams (taking over for Rush) and against the New England Patriots when Jackson left with an injury.

Overall, Huntley recorded 426 passing yards, four touchdowns, a career-high 103.1 passer rating, and completed a career-high 77.6 percent of his passes. By all accounts, this was Huntley's best stretch of games that he's started in.

You simply couldn't ask for anything more from your backup QB.

Huntley is a free agent this offseason, and the hope is that the Ravens can re-sign him because he is absolutely perfect for this team.
