The Baltimore Ravens are gearing up for a long offseason after a disappointing 2025 campaign. Countless areas of their team fell short of expectations, so an overhaul of changes should be on the horizon.
One of those areas was the coaching staff. Owner Steve Bisciotti made his feelings clear, firing Head Coach John Harbaugh two days after Baltimore’s season ended. It was a shock to some, but after several years of coming up short, it was time to move on.
The Ravens have already conducted many interviews and have more scheduled. Here is what we know so far.
Ravens’ completed head coach interviews
Vance Joseph, DC, Denver Broncos
Vance Joseph has led one of the top defenses in the NFL over the past few seasons. He has been the Denver Broncos’ defensive coordinator since 2023, leading a defense that consistently dominates the NFL in sacks.
The 53-year-old has plenty of experience, including a head coaching gig with the Broncos from 2017 to 2018.
Davis Webb, Pass Game Coordinator, Denver Broncos
Davis Webb is a former NFL quarterback and has been gaining a ton of buzz over the past week. He is just 30 years old, but has already played a key part in Denver’s success with quarterback Bo Nix.
Webb has been the team’s quarterbacks coach since 2023, and added offensive pass game coordinator to his resume in 2025. Safe to say he made an immediate impact, as the Broncos ranked 11th in pass yards per game this year and finished the regular season with the best record in the AFC.
Klint Kubiak, OC, Seattle Seahawks
Klint Kubiak has been possibly the hottest name in the coaching cycle thus far. At just 38 years old, he’s already proven himself as an offensive mastermind, with plenty of experience already under his belt.
Kubiak joined the Seattle Seahawks as their offensive coordinator in 2025 and helped pave the way for one of the most electric passing duos in Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to take over the league.
Prior to that, he was the New Orleans Saints’ offensive coordinator in 2024, the passing game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023, the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Broncos in 2022, and offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021.
Kevin Stefanski, former HC, Cleveland Browns
Like Harbaugh, Kevin Stefanski found himself out of a job at the end of the regular season. The Cleveland Browns fired him, but he remains a highly-touted coach.
Stefanski was the head coach in Cleveland from 2020 to 2025. He was the NFL’s Coach of the Year in 2020 and 2023, and led the Browns to the playoffs in those years.
The Browns had trouble finding their franchise quarterback during Stefanski’s tenure, and many believe that if he has stable quarterback play, the results will come more consistently.
Matt Nagy, OC, Kansas City Chiefs
Matt Nagy is in his second stint as offensive coordinator with the Kansas City Chiefs. After impressing from 2016 to 2017, he landed the head coaching job with the Chicago Bears in 2018. He was fired in 2021.
He has been back in that OC role in Kansas City since 2023 and is continuing to learn from one of the best coaches in league history, Andy Reid. In 2008, the Ravens picked Harbaugh from the Reid coaching tree, and they may do it again with Nagy.
Scheduled interviews
Anthony Weaver, DC, Miami Dolphins
Anthony Weaver is a familiar face. His playing career began with the Ravens in 2002, and he joined their coaching staff in 2021 as the defensive line coach and run game coordinator. Weaver was also the assistant head coach from 2022 to 2023. He eventually departed for the Miami Dolphins, where he has been their defensive coordinator since 2024.
There were rumblings that Weaver was in position to become the Ravens’ DC in 2024, but they ultimately selected Zach Orr for that job. This offseason, they could jump at the opportunity to bring him back into the building.
Brian Flores, DC, Minnesota Vikings
Like Kubiak, Brian Flores is a name that every team seems to be after this offseason. He has been the Minnesota Vikings' defensive coordinator since 2023, and this past year, he had his best year yet. Minnesota’s defense was third in the league in yards allowed per game and seventh in points per game.
Flores also has prior head coaching experience. He was the Miami Dolphins head coach from 2019 to 2021, before things ended ugly. Despite not making the playoffs in three seasons in Miami, it was clear they were trying to tank, and Flores’ rosters didn’t have a ton of talent.
He did well with the hand he was dealt, and he showcased what he can do in 2025 with the Vikings.
Kliff Kingsbury, former OC, Washington Commanders
Despite getting fired for the second time in his NFL coaching career last week, Kliff Kingsbury is a talented offensive mind. He joined the Washington Commanders as their offensive coordinator in 2024, helping propel them to the NFC Championship Game. 2025 was an injury-riddled year in Washington, but it ultimately resulted in Kingsbury’s firing. He also has head coaching experience with the Arizona Cardinals from 2019 to 2022
Kingsbury can truly get the best out of his quarterbacks. In college, he coached Patrick Mahomes and Caleb Williams, and in the NFL, he had a huge role in the development of Kyler Murray and Jayden Daniels.
Robert Saleh, DC, San Francisco 49ers
There may not be a better defensive-minded coach than Robert Saleh. He led some elite defenses with the 49ers from 2017 to 2020, and now, he’s back in San Francisco and is striking fear into opposing offenses again. 2025 has been one scarred with injuries, but Saleh still has his guys performing at a high level.
Saleh was also the head coach of the New York Jets from 2021 to 2024. It didn’t work out there, but it was a horrendous situation where the organization struggled to find an identity.
Joe Brady, OC, Buffalo Bills
Joe Brady is currently the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills. He’s been there since 2022 and took over offensive coordinator duties in 2023. He rose to fame after coaching possibly the best offensive team in college history in the 2019 LSU Tigers. He then became the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator in 2020, but was fired in 2021.
Brady certainly helped Josh Allen win the MVP in 2024, but 2025 has been a disappointing offensive season in Buffalo, particularly from a passing standpoint. Their running game has been the best in the NFL, though, which could make Brady an attractive candidate in Baltimore’s eyes.
Jesse Minter, DC, Los Angeles Chargers
Jesse Minter has the Los Angeles Chargers ranked as the fifth-best defense in 2025. He also has a ton of familiarity with the Ravens.
Minter landed his first NFL job with the Ravens in 2017 as a defensive assistant, where he spent two seasons. He was promoted to assistant defensive backs coach in 2019 and again in 2020, earning the defensive backs coach job.
Other buzz
Nathan Scheelhaase, Pass Game Coordinator, Los Angeles Rams
According to Albert Breer, the Ravens put in a request to interview the Los Angeles Rams’ pass game coordinator, Nathan Scheelhaase.
Demand for Rams' assistants 📈📈📈
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) January 11, 2026
Per sources ...
• DC Chris Shula has requests from Cards, Raiders, Titans, Giants, Ravens and Dolphins.
• PGC Nathan Scheelhaase has requests from Raiders, Browns and Ravens.
• OC Mike LaFleur has requests from the Raiders and Cards.
Scheelhaase is believed to be one of the fastest-rising coaches in the NFL. He joined the Rams in 2024 as an offensive assistant and passing game specialist. This season, he has been the pass game coordinator, and has veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford in line to win his first-career MVP in his age-37 season.
Chris Shula, DC, Los Angeles Rams
Breer also reported the Ravens have put in a request for an interview with Rams’ defensive coordinator Chris Shula. Shula has been on the Rams’ defensive staff since 2017, and these past two years as defensive coordinator have shown he has head coach potential.
Stay tuned for more updates.
