With approximately $22M in cap space -- a number that could skyrocket once Lamar Jackson’s next contract is figured out, and his $74.5M cap hit is restructured -- the Baltimore Ravens are positioned to surround their two-time MVP with the final pieces of a Super Bowl puzzle.

That won't come easy. Free agency is a frenzy where money can be thrown around frantically to improve rosters. The Ravens are far behind a lot of teams in terms of cap space, and aren't usually uber-aggressive in these coming months. They may be at a bit of a disadvantage in that aspect.

Still, Baltimore is a franchise with a rich history of success. Many pending free agents would love to join the team. These three free agents could fit the Ravens' blueprint.

3 potential Ravens free agent targets to know

1. Tyreek Hill, WR

The wideout landscape shifted when the Miami Dolphins released Hill just a few weeks ago. Despite a season-ending knee injury in 2025, Hill has publicly vowed a comeback, and Baltimore has been rumored to be a possible fit.

  • The Fit: Pairing Hill with Zay Flowers is a dynamic perimeter duo. While Flowers has emerged as a consistent technician, the veteran in Hill provides the vertical gravity that forces safeties to play at depth, creating rushing lanes for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, while keeping defenses from collapsing on Flowers’ intermediate routes. Hill has already named Lamar as his favorite QB, and his presence would finally fix the deep ball inconsistencies that have occasionally capped the Ravens' offensive ceiling.
  • The Price Tag: High-risk, high-reward. Due to his age (32) and recovery status, Hill might accept a heavy incentive-based reclamation deal.

2. Added Depth: CB Benjamin St-Juste

The Ravens’ secondary is seeking a physical, high-ceiling corner to complement Nate Wiggins. Benjamin St-Juste is coming off a career-best season where he flashed inside-out versatility and the ability to live on an island at times. Baltimore also hired Jesse Minter, St-Juste's defensive coordinator during his 2025 breakout with the Los Angeles Chargers. He could provide sneaky upside.

  • The Fit: At 6-foot-3, St-Juste has the rare length and man-coverage ability that fits the Ravens' aggressive defensive identity. He made a leap in 2025 after a mediocre tenure to start his career with the Washington Commanders, showing he can handle elite WR1s without getting into the penalty trouble that plagued him early on. He provides a veteran presence that allows Wiggins and Kyle Hamilton to play with even more freedom.
  • The Price Tag: Cheap. Even after a standout year on a small deal, he could command a multi-year extension in another spot to prove his worth. Expect a deal around $2-4M per year.

3. Bargain Bridge: iDL Sheldon Rankins

With the Ravens needing to replace veteran production in the trenches, they could look to a 32-year-old veteran who has found a second prime as a high-floor starter: Sheldon Rankins.

  • The Fit: Rankins is coming off a 600-snap season with the Texans, where he became a notable pass rush presence from the interior. He isn't a long-term project at his age, and he recorded 44 pressures in 2025, showing he can still push the pocket. In the Ravens' rotation, he would act as a bridge player who protects the linebackers in the run game while providing an interior rush on third downs.
  • The Price Tag: $5M – $6M per year. Following his one-year stint in Houston, Rankins is the perfect short-term, immediate impact signing that doesn't hinder the team's long-term cap flexibility.
