The Baltimore Ravens are heading into a free agency that will determine whether or not this team is a legitimate Super Bowl challenger. For years, it's been dominant runs in the regular season followed by self-inflicted defeats in the playoffs. At some point, it has to come together. Why not this offseason?

While the salary cap increase was as helpful as it was unexpected, it doesn't necessarily solve any of the Ravens' issues. The biggest name is, of course, left tackle Ronnie Stanley. General manager Eric DeCosta has been expressive about his desire to bring Stanley back to Baltimore, but there will need to be some contract maneuvering to make it happen.

Armed with 11 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, DeCosta has a real chance here to reload and retool with some fresh young faces, building the next wave of contributors while the stars handle the winning for now. This is shaping up to be one of the more sneaky important offseason for the Ravens in some time, and it'll be interesting to see how things play out. Here's our rundown of the Ravens' list of free agents and our tracker, updated with every move as the offseason unfolds.

Quarterback

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Josh Johnson

39

$1.37M

TBD

Josh Johnson was the only other quarterback rostered by the Ravens last year, which should tell you all you need to know about their quarterback situation. Johnson will be 39 years old next year, and he could be retiring or moving on to his 15th NFL team. The Ravens should look to free agency to bring in a quarterback or bring up Devin Leary from the practice squad. Johnson just isn't a reliable enough quarterback to be Lamar Jackson's only backup.

Fullback

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Patrick Ricard

31

$3.75M

TBD

This should be pretty straightforward. Patrick Ricard has already stated he wants to remain with the Ravens and general manager Eric DeCosta practically confirmed it'll happen.

Wide Receiver

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Nelson Agholor

32

$3.75M

TBD

Deonte Harty

27

$1.29M

TBD

Diontae Johnson

29

$18.35M

TBD

Steven Sims

28

$1.32M

TBD

Tylan Wallace

26

$1.04M

TBD

The receiver group is another interesting one. All four could leave the team, and their absences really wouldn't be felt. The Ravens will look to add a top-three receiver to join Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, making these four expendable. They spent a fourth-round pick on Devontez Walker last year, so the need for borderline playable players isn't necessarily there. Deonte Harty and Tylan Wallace have shown legitimate abilities in the return game, but that might not be enough to keep them in Baltimore. Diontae Johnson is gone.

Offensive Line

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Ben Cleveland

27

$1.21M

TBD

Josh Jones

28

$1.79M

TBD

Patrick Mekari

28

$5.15M

TBD

Ronnie Stanley

31

$7.50M

TBD

The main course. What will happen with highly-coveted free agent Ronnie Stanley? It's the $20 million question. DeCosta has been vocal about bringing him back, but so far it's been crickets. There will definitely be free-agency interest in Patrick Mekari, which will likely price him out of Baltimore, but there are plenty of draft-worthy interior linemen they can select to stabilize the line.

Defensive Line

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Brent Urban

34

$1.34M

TBD

Luckily, Brent Urban is the only defensive lineman set for free agency this offseason. He's a very solid veteran who will most likely make his way back to Baltimore. There's much of a market for him, but he gives effort and plays like a Raven. He'd be cheap too. If he doesn't come back, expect DeCosta to address the interior D-line at the draft.

Linebackers

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Chris Board

30

$1.29M

TBD

Malik Harrison

27

$2.74M

TBD

Kristian Welch

28

$1.13M

TBD

Roquan Smith is still one of the best linebackers in football. Aside from him, there is room for improvement. Trenton Simpson didn't take the leap many hoped, leaving Chris Board and Malik Harrison on cleanup duty. Both played significant snaps on special teams, and both should be brought back at a reasonable price.

Defensive Backs

Player name

Age in 2025 season

2024 contract AAV

2025 team

Trayvon Mullen

27

$1.13M

TBD

Brandon Stephens

27

$1.20M

TBD

Tre'Davious White

30

$4.25M

TBD

Marcus Williams

29

$14.00M

TBD

Ar'Darius Washington (RFA)

25

$925K

TBD

Christian Matthew

28

$925K

TBD

The defensive back situation is not the most ideal for a team coming off the second-worst passing defense in 2024. But this is the situation the Ravens find themselves in. The biggest name will be Brandon Stephens. He struggled mightily last year, and it feels as though his time is up in Baltimore. The same can be said for Tre'Davious White. The mid-season acquisition was a shrewd move that ultimately didn't end up doing much. Expect him to be gone. Marcus Williams has all but confirmed he'll be moving on, leaving the biggest remaining decision with Ar'Darius Washington.

Needless to say, Baltimore has to address the secondary this offseason.
