The Baltimore Ravens (8-5) are back in action after their bye, and let’s just say, this one should be as close to a layup as you’ll find in the NFL. On paper, the Ravens should handle the New York Giants (2-11) without breaking much of a sweat. Of course, we’ve learned the hard way that “on paper” means nothing if you can’t execute on the field.
The Ravens have a golden opportunity here: a chance to keep pace with the Steelers in the AFC North while staying sharp for next week’s divisional showdown. For the Giants, they’re playing for pride, draft positioning, and maybe Head Coach Brian Daboll’s job security.
Baltimore leads the NFL in offensive firepower, racking up more yards per game than anyone else and lighting up the scoreboard with 29.5 points per outing. But the focus today will be Derrick Henry, who’s fresh off the bye and poised to feast on a Giants defense that’s allowed 141.7 rushing yards per game.
Combine that with Lamar Jackson’s MVP-level play, and you’ve got a recipe for a long afternoon in East Rutherford for Big Blue.
That said, the Ravens can’t afford to sleepwalk through this one. Baltimore’s already been snakebitten by backup quarterbacks twice this season, and Tommy DeVito will look to be the next one to shock the world. Plus, this is the kind of trap game you hate to see if you’re a fan of a playoff contender.
Baltimore has some injury concerns to monitor. Rashod Bateman’s knee issue doesn’t seem serious, but Sanoussi Kane (hamstring) and Michael Pierce (calf) remain questionable. For now, expect a “game-time decision” vibe to hang over several key contributors.

The Ravens head into Week 15 in rare form—healthy and ready to roll. The only notable absence is wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who’s serving a team-enforced suspension stemming from his decision not to play against the Eagles in Week 13.
With a clean injury report and plenty at stake, Baltimore is set to take care of business against the Giants. No excuses.

The Giants are going to be without a lot of impact players, especially in the secondary. Rookie sensation Dru Phillips is out, along with second-year corner Deonte Banks. Who is available to cover the Ravens receivers? Along with their tattered passing defense, their defensive leader, Dexter Lawrence, is on IR. Their captain, Bobby Okereke, is also out this game. The Ravens have no excuses today. Get it done.
