The Baltimore Ravens collapsed on primetime on Thanksgiving. They were upset by the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, getting blown out 32-14. It was a night that should have seen the offense kick it back into high gear amid a cold streak. Instead, quarterback Lamar Jackson had by far his worst game of the season.
Seemingly, everyone on the offense had a bad day. However, it was clear that most of the blame for the team’s ineffectiveness fell on Jackson. The turnover bug bit him badly, as he fumbled the ball twice and threw an interception, all three of which came in spots on the field that completely shifted the momentum. His fumbles came deep inside Ravens’ territory, and the interception came on a drive that had a touchdown written all over it.
Still, Jackson is undoubtedly a top quarterback in the NFL, and one bad stretch, where he is clearly still injured, does not change that. However, that never stops social media from criticizing players.
Andrew Fillipponi, the co-host of Poni and Mueller on 93.7 The Fan, a Pittsburgh radio station, let everyone know his stance on Jackson during his Week 13 horror show.
Jackson caught wind of the tweet and made sure to reply.
Sayless🤣

Lamar Jackson looking to prove people wrong after Thanksgiving meltdown
Jackson does not need to prove people wrong. He is a two-time MVP, already has a Hall of Fame resume, and is currently a top-five quarterback in the NFL. Still, after what may have been the worst game of his career, he will be looking to get back on track. Who better to do that against than the Steelers?
The stakes for the upcoming Week 14 matchup between Baltimore and Pittsburgh were already high. Regardless of the Steelers’ Week 13 outcome against the Buffalo Bills, first place will once again be on the line next week. With a win in that game, Baltimore can either pull even and hold the tiebreaker once again or jump into first place by a game. With that in mind, Jackson and Baltimore’s offense are eyeing the perfect stage to right their ship.
Sure, Jackson has struggled against the Steelers' defense throughout his career, but he has shown vast improvements in his last two matchups. He has won two straight against the division rival, completing 31 of 44 passes for 382 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in that span. He also has 103 rushing yards in those two games.
If Jackson can get back to 100 percent, and the offensive line can look at least average next week, they should be able to handle business. It will not be an easy task, especially given the rivalry between the two teams, but Jackson and the Ravens are playing for their playoff lives now. It all starts in Week 14.
