The Baltimore Ravens were agonizingly inconsistent in 2025. After a terrible start, they showed a glimmer of what would be false hope, taking things down to the final game of the season before being eliminated from playoff contention. They need a massive overhaul this offseason, and they already got that by way of hiring head coach Jesse Minter and a fresh coaching staff.

The roster needs proven veterans in key spots like offensive guard and outside linebacker, but general manager Eric DeCosta and company will continue to put most of their focus on the NFL Draft. While the 2026 class appears to be weaker than most, the Ravens have plenty of opportunities to add depth.

In a recent four-round mock draft by Lou Scataglia on NFL Spin Zone, the Ravens load up on young talent for Minter’s defense and add a flash of playmaking for newly hired offensive coordinator Declan Doyle’s offense.

Among those in the draft haul were Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk in the first, Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell in the second, Texas cornerback Malik Muhammad in the third, and Texas A&M linebacker Taurean York in the fourth.

Ravens add influx of talent to stack new coaching staff’s roster in 4-round mock draft

Scataglia’s mock hits on most of the Ravens’ needs. While you could make the case for an offensive guard, it may be smarter to add a proven veteran at that spot with the amount of struggles that position group saw in 2025. As for the draft haul as a whole? Most Ravens fans would be happy.

It feels like Keldric Faulk fits Baltimore perfectly. He’s a big defender firing off the edge, bringing the size that the Ravens have been urged to get back to. While he still has a long way to go as a pass rusher, he brings it as a run defender. He may be the best edge-setting pass rusher in this draft class.

In the instance Faulk can’t develop as a premier pass rusher, a kick to the interior defensive line feels like a smooth transition. The Ravens need some help at the spot, too, so his versatility would be especially helpful on Minter’s defense in 2026.

Chris Bell may be one of the biggest risks of the draft. He tore his ACL late in 2025, putting a major red flag on his prospect profile during the draft process. However, assuming all goes well with his recovery, the potential is there.

Bell brings size and explosiveness, and was used as a gadget-type player in Louisville’s offense. While it worked out with 917 yards and six touchdowns last year, it may have limited his route-running development. Still, there’s plenty of talent there, and he could be the boundary target that Baltimore has lacked over the years.

Malik Muhammad brings natural instincts at corner with great athleticism. After the Ravens’ secondary struggled in 2025, they need some youth there to help shift the tone in 2026. If drafted to Baltimore, it feels like he could make an immediate impact as a rotational option.

Muhammad’s slight frame could limit him at the NFL level. Ultimately, he could work better as a slot corner, which the Ravens still need. The idea of adding another lighter corner could scare Ravens fans, as they could use more physicality with Nate Wiggins on one boundary, but based on talent alone, Muhammad brings it.

Adding Taurean York in the fourth round wouldn’t be bad value at all. He is the ideal linebacker that the Ravens look for: a quick linebacker with good instincts who plays with his hair on fire. With Roquan Smith and Teddye Buchanan leading the group, York would bring the energy in a backup role.

Ultimately, there’s a lot of risk with Scataglia’s class for the Ravens in this four-round mock draft. Whether it be a lack of production, injuries, or size, there could be some worry about what these players could bring in the pros. However, there’s also a ton of upside. And Baltimore needs upside.
