The Baltimore Ravens' league-leading offense just received more firepower, as it was revealed that tight end Isaiah Likely is expected to make his 2025 season debut in Week 4. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport was the first to break the news.

Likely has been out since late July after breaking the fifth metatarsal in his foot during the team’s training camp. The 25-year-old is in a contract year, and many expect him to enjoy a breakout campaign this year.
His arrival could not have come at a better time. The Ravens are getting hit with injury after injury, and are relieved to see one of their star contributors return to the field. For Likely, he will have the chance at revenge, as the last time he faced Kansas City, he was a toe away from tying or even winning the game in Week 1 of the 2024 season.
Isaiah Likely set to give Ravens a big boost vs. Chiefs
Likely is poised to seize the opportunity lying ahead in Week 4. After a slow start in the first two weeks, Baltimore’s tight end group surged in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions. Franchise star Mark Andrews hauled in six passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns, and fourth-year pro Charlie Kolar added two catches and 22 yards of his own. The passing offense is firing on all cylinders, and it should make for a seamless transition back into action for Likely.
The wide receivers have also been thriving. Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, DeAndre Hopkins, Devontez Walker, and Tylan Wallace have all already found the end zone in 2025, and Likely is set to be the next weapon to join that crowded list.
Likely should have a massive impact on a struggling run game, too. While his athleticism at tight end jumps out as a dynamic option through the air, he also does his job as a blocker. His combination of size and athleticism helps him disrupt opposing defensive lines at the line of scrimmage and make key blocks downfield for superstar running back Derrick Henry.
The team will be without fullback Patrick Ricard for at least one more week, so Likely’s presence as a blocker will be a welcome sight to see.
Baltimore will be careful with Likely. It is not a guarantee that he will see the field, and his pregame workouts will tell if he is ready to go. Still, even if he does suit up, they will likely ease him into action.
With talent like Andrews and Kolar, there is no reason to rush it. However, Likely has been a limited participant in practice since September 12 and was a full participant on Friday. He seems poised to contribute versus the Chiefs, and it should pay off big time.
