The Baltimore Ravens have been very active on the trade market. They acquired safety Alohi Gilman from the Los Angeles Chargers in the Odafe Oweh trade, and bolstered the defense once more by trading for Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Dre’Mont Jones.

While the Ravens are on a two-game winning streak, they are still in a big hole. At 3-5, they are fighting for their playoff lives every week, and undoubtedly need more help if they want to make the postseason in 2025.

Here are the latest updates around the NFL that could affect Baltimore’s trade deadline strategy and determine their playoff outlook.

Latest trade deadline updates, reports, and rumors

Ravens miss out on Quinnen Williams sweepstakes (11/4)

The Dallas Cowboys traded for three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. The New York Jets received a 2027 first-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith in return.

Williams was a name the Ravens could have targeted if they opted to make a blockbuster deal, but he is off the table now. Baltimore could still look to upgrade their interior defensive line, but they likely will not land a game-changer at this point.

New York Jets blockbuster Sauce Gardner trade changes everything (11/4)

The New York Jets traded All-Pro cornerback Sauce Garnder to the Indianapolis Colts for two first-round picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell. The move came from out of nowhere, and if Gardner was on the table ahead of the 4 p.m. deadline, there is an endless world of possibilities.

The primary candidate from the Jets that Ravens fans have been begging for is defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Reports from last week indicated that Williams could get traded, and the latest trade of Gardner could make that a real possibility. The price would likely be a first-round selection, but it is a move worth exploring if you are General Manager Eric DeCosta.

Outside linebacker Jermaine Johnson II could be another name to watch.

AFC North rival takes hits (11/4)

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to make a move or two ahead of the trade deadline. They have been linked to several wide receivers to pair with DK Metcalf, but missed out on Jakobi Meyers. The Las Vegas Raiders traded Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick.

The New Orleans Saints traded wide receiver Rasheed Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks, as well. The Saints netted a fourth-round pick and a fifth-round pick in return. Both prices were steep, but those are two potential weapons now off the table for Pittsburgh.

Ravens land pass rush help (11/3)

Baltimore got exactly what they needed on defense by acquiring Dre’Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans. Jones is a versatile pass rusher, filling various roles along the defensive front. The Ravens sent a conditional fifth-round selection that could become a fourth-round pick.

Jones joins a group of Kyle Van Noy, Mike Green, and Carl Lawson, with hopes of Tavius Robinson joining that unit down the line when he returns from his broken foot.
