Aaron Rodgers is back in the AFC North. After an offseason of speculation, he opted to return for another year to quarterback the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense. While Rodgers and the Steelers pried the division away from the Baltimore Ravens a season ago, things are different now.

The Steelers parted ways with long-time head coach Mike Tomlin and hired retread Mike McCarthy. Tomlin gave that franchise consistent winning seasons so finishing above .500 isn't a guarantee for Pittsburgh as it has been in past years.

Former Ravens defensive end Chris Canty slammed the Steelers for bringing Rodgers back. Ravens fans will definitely enjoy his latest comments.

"When you sign Aaron Rodgers to be your QB week 1, what you are doing is conceding that we ain't winning a championship this year," Canty said on Unsportsmanlike.

Is he wrong though? Rodgers is not the same guy he was during his prime years in Green Bay and the Steelers don't have enough talent to get over the hump and win it all this season. So, while, yes, some might look at this as a former Ravens player "taking a shot" at a division rival, he's not off base at all.

The Steelers struggled in the playoffs even before Rodgers got to Pittsburgh, failing to win a postseason game since 2017. It's been tough sledding for them and they couldn't even get past a Texans team that had an abysmal C.J. Stroud at the helm in the wild card round.

For Ravens fans, it's been fun watching the Steelers fumble at the quarterback position since Ben Roethlisberger retired. He gave them consistency at the position for so long and now it's nice to see them floundering.

Rodgers is not the same player he once was and that means this is going to be yet another lost season for the Ravens' biggest rival. You love to see it.
