Fans are counting down the days until the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Baltimore Ravens find themselves in an unwanted, yet familiar, draft spot at No. 14. It’s a massive pick, not just because they had an abysmal season in 2025, but also because it’ll be the first pick of the new era under new head coach Jesse Minter.

There’s really no telling what the Ravens will do once it’s their turn to pick. Most mocks have predicted an interior offensive lineman, whether that be Vega Ioane (Penn State) or Spencer Fano (Utah), but there’s another huge need. Wide receiver.

Unfortunately, Baltimore might not be able to get their hands on a top wideout in the first round. While Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) feels like the perfect fit, an impressive workout on April 17 has shifted the momentum of his draft stock to the point where he may not be there at No. 14.

Here’s a highlight from Tyson’s workout that has many teams excited.

And here’s another for good measure.

One word. Explosive.

Everyone knows that Tyson has top-10-caliber talent. However, the biggest question mark surrounding his draft stock is a significant red flag. He can’t stay healthy. Well, he certainly reminded everyone of what he can do when healthy.

The Arizona State product has the size, catch radius, athleticism…pretty much everything you’d want in a No. 1 WR. And while the injuries are a valid worry, you best believe that if he can fight through the pain and stay on the field, he’ll do just that. His toughness is second to none.

Still, those injury questions will follow him until he proves to everyone he can stay healthy throughout his NFL career. He suffered a serious knee injury in 2022, broke his collarbone in 2024, and injured both hamstrings throughout his 2025 campaign. Sure, the workout clips are cool, but the fact of that matter is that he has trouble staying on the field, and the best ability is availability.

Those exciting workout clips aren’t the only reason that could extinguish the fire that’s built around Tyson going to the Ravens. The New York Giants have been rumored to have interest in Tyson, and after trading Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals for the No. 10 pick, it’s looking more likely that he goes off the board just before Baltimore.

Of course, there’s still hope. You never truly know what will happen in the NFL Draft until the event kicks off. However, the excitement around a potential Tyson-Ravens pairing seems to be fading away.
