After an absolutely dominant start to his 2026 season, Zay Flowers came off the field with a hamstring injury late in the second quarter. He walked gingerly to the sideline after securing his fifth catch of the day for a 12-yard gain and a first down.
According to CBS sideline reporter AJ Ross, Flowers was listed as questionable to return ahead of halftime.
Flowers was dealing with a hamstring issue all week in practice, although it’s not clear if it was the same hamstring he pulled up with. He was limited, but logged two full practices on Thursday and Friday, and didn’t have an injury designation entering Sunday’s game.
At the start of the second half, he remained on the sideline without a helmet.

It’s currently unclear if Flowers will be able to return to action. He was seen on the sideline without his helmet, but was walking under his own power as Baltimore closed out the first half.
Up to that point, Flowers was having a career day with 5 receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown. He looked unstoppable and was showcasing a tremendous ability to get loose after the catch.
The biggest strength in Flowers’ game is undoubtedly his speed and explosiveness. He’s as shifty as it gets, and it was clearly helping him get wide open early and often. The Colts couldn’t cover him no matter how hard they tried.
Flowers’ playstyle can take a toll on the hamstring. Getting low, jump cuts, his burst…everything he does really requires that hamstring to be at full strength. Tweaking it could certainly impact the way he looks for the rest of the game, if he does return to action.
The Ravens obviously need Flowers. He’s the best weapon they have through the air. Without him, they lack much certainty and consistency between their other wide receivers.
And to make matters worse, rookie Ja'Kobi Lane was ruled out with a wrist injury, making Baltimore's depth there even shallower.
Ultimately, though, Baltimore should be extra careful with Flowers. Again, that type of injury can significantly impact a player like him. You don’t want to make matters worse.

Flowers was seen heading back to the locker room late in the third quarter, as the Ravens hit the field for their 11th drive of the game. With the game entering the fourth quarter, that's not a great sign.
In the fourth quarter, Flowers was officially ruled out for the game with a hamstring injury. The Ravens turned to Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore, and LaJohntay Wester in his and Lane's absence.
