The Baltimore Ravens are never massively big spenders in free agency, and this year will be no different with their salary cap situation. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be active in the bargain bin, especially at positions of need. One of those positions is at cornerback, where depth is becoming a semi-legitimate concern heading into 2025.

Luckily for the Ravens, the Miami Dolphins just did them a favor. They have released veteran corner Kendall Fuller in a cost-cutting move, making him one of the better value signings available. The 30-year-old started 11 games last season, racking up 50 tackles, seven pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. He also allowed just one touchdown on 47 targets.

With Brandon Stephens likely gone and Tre’Davious White’s return uncertain, the Ravens need reliable depth behind Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey. Fuller may not be an All-Pro, but he’s a smart, experienced corner who could be exactly what Baltimore needs—at a price they can actually afford.

Kendall Fuller would be low-risk, high-reward signing

The Ravens’ cornerback room has a decent amount of question marks right now. Humphrey has struggled to stay healthy, and while Wiggins showed tons of promise as a rookie, he’s still developing.

Baltimore was forced to rotate bodies in the secondary all season, and their inability to stop the passing attack was ultimately their undoing. Fuller may not be a lockdown guy, but he’s proven he can be a steady presence in coverage.

The Ravens also have a history of squeezing the most out of veteran corners. Just look at Marcus Peters or even Jimmy Smith in his later years. Fuller fits the mold of a guy who won’t break the bank but could come in, provide quality snaps, and help solidify a secondary that desperately needs it.

Baltimore needs depth. Fuller is available. The price should be right. This should be a no-brainer.

The Ravens won’t be handing out massive contracts in free agency, but adding a proven veteran like Fuller on a short-term deal makes perfect sense. He brings experience, versatility, and the ability to hold his own in coverage—all things the Ravens need to win right now. If Baltimore is serious about shoring up its secondary, Fuller should be high on their list of targets.
