Nick Wright’s head coach rankings just gave Ravens fans a new reason to rage

This list makes no sense.

When discussing the best head coaches in the NFL, Baltimore Ravens fans would likely understand if one didn't have John Harbaugh number one. That being said, putting him in the top five feels like a smart decision, but at the very least, he should be considered top 10.

Well, Nick Wright of First Thing's First didn't agree. Not only did Wright not include Harbaugh in his top 10 head coaches rankings, but he even put John's brother, Jim Harbaugh of the Los Angeles Chargers, in fourth. The same Jim Harbaugh that has yet to win a Super Bowl while John Harbaugh won one during the 2012 season.

Nick Wright's head coach rankings will make Ravens fans downright angry

It's silly enough that Harbaugh doesn't make an appearance on Wright's list but putting Jim higher than him is flat-out strange. Sure, Jim Harbaugh won a National Championship at Michigan but this is the NFL we're talking about. John Harbaugh has a Super Bowl appearance and has only had two losing seasons since taking over as the Ravens head coach in 2008.

The sample size is plenty big when it comes to Harbaugh and what he can do and the fact that he's ranked below the likes of Kevin O'Connell, Matt LaFleur, and Dan Campbell is wild. None of those guys have reached a Super Bowl.

All of this being said, Ravens fans aren't surprised to see Wright out in full force against their team. He's a diehard Chiefs fans and shockingly didn't include Nick Sirianni, who just beat his team in the Super Bowl, on the list either.

Maybe it's okay that one talking head doesn't think Harbaugh is a top 10 coach. All that matters is that Ravens fans are happy with him and that he keeps leading this team to successful seasons. Getting a second Super Bowl title would be the icing on the cake.
