The Baltimore Ravens are coming off of an extremely disappointing loss to the Steelers (3-2) last weekend, but still maintain a 3-2 record while sitting in second place in the AFC North.
As for the Titans, opponents of Baltimore this weekend, they are coming off of a division loss themselves after a 23-16 loss against the Colts in week 5. They currently sit in last place in the AFC South with a record of 2-3.
Here are 3 bold predictions for this weekends matchup!
Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman finally break through
Maybe this is wishful thinking, but Bateman and OBJ have to have a big game at some point right?
Bateman and Beckham Jr. are off the extremely slow starts to the season, combining for just 15 catches and 146 yards between the two of them. They have also both been held out of the end zone this season, although Bateman dropped what should have been an easy score.
Beckham Jr. and Bateman have also both missed some time due to injury this season, with OBJ missing two games and facing pressure, and Bateman missing one. After a disappointing game for the entire receiving core last week against the Steelers, I think the Ravens receivers will certainly be eager to make a statement against an iffy Titans secondary.
The Titans are currently 23rd in the league in passing defense, allowing just over 240 passing yards per game this season. They also are allowing the fifth-highest opponent passer rating this season, with an opponent rating of 103.2.
Hopefully, this will be the game where we see the full potential of the Ravens' passing offense. I think Bateman and OBJ will combine for 10 catches and each find the end zone this week.
