5 guaranteed wins on Baltimore Ravens 2023 schedule
By Ryan Heckman
The long-awaited NFL schedule release is finally here, and we now know how the Baltimore Ravens’ travel plans will pan out in 2023.
Fans will get to see their newly-extended quarterback, Lamar Jackson, begin a hopefully-healthy campaign in effort to finally get this team over the Wildcard and Divisional playoff hump.
For Jackson and his new weapons, Odell Beckham Jr. and Zay Flowers, they get to kick things off against the Houston Texans, at home, in Week 1.
From there, though, there are definitely a few games we see this team winning, no matter what. Which games are they, and do you agree?
Baltimore Ravens guaranteed win Number 1: Week 1 vs. Houston Texans
Every rookie quarterback has his infamous “welcome to the NFL” game, and this just might end up being that game for C.J. Stroud -- and in his first career pro start, too. The Ravens’ defense ended last season on a tear, and just had a totally different edge to them after the Roquan Smith trade.
This is a unit that typically prides themselves on being nasty, gritty and making opposing offenses earn every yard. That’s not the kind of defense a rookie quarterback usually performs well against. For Stroud, this will be a game of learning opportunities as the Ravens obliterate the Houston Texans.
It will be a loud environment on the road for Stroud, who will end up turning the ball over three times en route to a Ravens’ 30-10 victory. The veteran, Lamar Jackson, will show the young gun how it’s done and give the former Buckeye plenty to aspire to, watching the former MVP from the sideline.
Baltimore comes away with a feasible victory in this one, while the Texans continue to work their way out of the bottom of the barrel.
