Baltimore Ravens cornerback depth chart: Pre-Draft 2023
As we get closer to the 2023 NFL draft we will look at the Baltimore Ravens depth chart and then compare how it stands now versus next weekend after the draft. Today, we will look at the cornerback room.
Baltimore Ravens safety depth chart
1. Marlon Humphrey
Marlon Humphrey has not played the slot as much in the past two years compared to the years prior, but he still has that ability to follow any receiver around the field.
2. Brandon Stephens
Brandon Stephens played safety and slot more as a rookie in 2021 but then moved outside last season. As of now, he is the most trusted option on the outside.
3. Pepe Williams
Pepe Williams was set to get some work in the slot last season, but he got banged up about halfway through the year, and Kyle Hamtilton became a starter in the slot, so he did not get his job back. As we stand now, he is the starter in the slot.
4. Jalyn Armour-Davis
Armour-Davis got some work early in the season on the outside but struggled during his rookie season. Now that he is in year two there is a chance he can take a step forward, but for now, he cannot be trusted as anything more than a depth option.
5. Trayvon Mullen
The Baltimore Ravens signed Trayvon Mullen this off-season. We will see how the veteran competes with the young players entering their second and third seasons.
6. Daryl Worley
Daryl Worley has enough size that he could end up being a big slot option for the Baltimore Ravens. Between Worley and Williams, they have two decent slot options.
7. BoPete Keyes
BoPete Keyes is a depth option who will not be making the roster in most scenarios.
Overall, the Baltimore Ravens need to draft one, and possibly two cornerbacks. Considering Williams is not very proven they should try to add a cornerback with slot experience, or at least that type of capability. Adding a big outside threat early, then a slot in the middle rounds may be their best option.
