Now that the Baltimore Ravens had made all of their selections in the 2023 NFL draft there will be some moving and shuffling, but for the most part, the depth chart is going to be set as the team gets ready for the offseason.

How does the Ravens linebacker depth chart stand as of now?

Baltimore Ravens linebacker depth chart: Post 2023 NFL draft

1. Roquan Smith

The Ravens' defense took a big change for the better when they traded for Roquan Smith, and they extended Smith showing an all-in commitment to him being the quarterback of the defense. The question with Smith is if they will pay for the position knowing that he can make others better.

2. Patrick Queen

Now that the Baltimore Ravens signed Roquan Smith and drafted Trenton Simpson the writing is on the wall for Patrick Queen with the Ravens. The way the Ravens view Queen is that he only started to play better when the team added Smith, and Smith can help others do the same. He is not worth the money he will be getting elsewhere, and the Ravens want a compensatory pick.

3. Trenton Simpson

The Ravens drafted Simpson and that may signal the end of Patrick Queen. Next year they may have him wear a few different hats as they did with Kyle Hamilton. However, like Hamilton, they may see Chuck Clark leave the following season, and that will be the case with Queen and Simpson.

4. Malik Harrison

You could make the case that Harrison is also the best option on the roster and be the backup SAM behind Tyus Bowser. Beyond that, he brings enough on special teams to be a lock.

5. Kristian Welch

Kristian Welch is another player who will make the roster because he can bring some value as a special teams option. He will be entering year four with the team and that has been his role.

6. Del'Shawn Phillips

Del'Shawn Phillips is also entering his fourth NFL season, but just his second with the Ravens.

7. Josh Ross

Josh Ross spent most of the season on the practice squad but did get called up and played some special teams in weeks one and two. We will see if he can earn a spot over Phillips or Welch.
