3 Baltimore Ravens trending strongly towards returning at Pittsburgh Steelers week 5
1. Rashod Bateman looks healthy for the Baltimore Ravens
Rashod Bateman missed last week with a hamstring injury. It was awful timing for Bateman because Odell Beckham missed the game as well. Bateman has been dealing with the return from his injury but also finding his place in an offense where Zay Flowers is being force-fed the football, and Odell Beckham has taken the role of the X.
Beckham has been limited on both days, but given his veteran status, that may mean that he is ready to play. Still, someone who definitely looks ready is Rashod Bateman. Bateman practiced in full the last two days, showing that his hamstring can handle the intense running.
The timing could not be better. The Baltimore Ravens take on a Pittsburgh Steelers secondary that is weak. Levi Wallace is bottom five in yards allowed, and Patrick Peterson looks nothing like the name of the player that we remember.
Bateman has had a slow start to his season, but this could be a chance to get right. The bad news is that he is coming back from multiple injuries, but the good news is that he appears to be healthy and ready to go.
