5 free agent offensive linemen Baltimore Ravens should sign before training camp

As the Baltimore Ravens roster is currently constructed, they have 89 players signed on their 90-man roster. Something tells me this means the team will be making a signing at some point shortly. There are a few potential positions the Ravens could address, and plenty of free agents still out there.

If the Baltimore Ravens signed a free agent offensive lineman before training camp, who would that be?

5. Should the Baltimore Ravens sign Justin Pugh?

If you have been an NFL fan for the past decade, you know of Justin Pugh and what he can bring to the table. Pugh is a former first-round pick and has been a starter in the NFL for the past decade. He has played a little tackle when needed but mostly spent his entire career at left guard.

Of course, the Baltimore Ravens just so happen to have a question at left guard. Ben Cleveland has not taken advantage, and the team has had Daniel Faalele and Sala Amuave-Laulu competing with him. The issue is that SAL is a rookie from day three of the NFL draft, and Faalele is in year two with no guard experience. The Ravens may have three options but really have none at the same time.

Justin Pugh has a few things going against him. First, he will be 33 years old this season, but worse than that it that he tore his ACL last year. It was in week six, and he has noted that he feels good and expects to be back. Still, at his age and recovery process, no one knows exactly what they will be getting from him.

Still, this could benefit the Ravens now. If he is healthy, the only reason he is still around is the ACL question. The Ravens thought they had an answer, but if they did not, they should call on the veteran left guard.
