One of the offseason's biggest and continuing stories has been that of free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and the Baltimore Ravens are one of the teams which have been rumored to be in the running for his services.

It's been a long road for Hopkins and the Arizona Cardinals, who finally opted to release him just recently after failing to find a trade partner. Arizona is headed in a different direction, and did Hopkins justice by releasing him and allowing him to find a contender to sign with.

With what the Ravens have been able to do this offseason, between extending Lamar Jackson, signing Odell Beckham Jr. and drafting Zay Flowers, they are certainly loading up on offense to try and make a run in that loaded AFC.

Hopkins being on the market, and the Ravens being one of the higher betting favorites to land him, definitely makes the coming days interesting. But, Hopkins recently went from representing himself to hiring an agent to help him navigate the next part of his career.

DeAndre Hopkins' new agent could give us an idea of where he's going to sign

Hopkins signed with Kelton Crenshaw of Klutch Sports in order to help him find the best next steps possible, and Crenshaw also represents a few key players that could give us a hint as to Hopkins' next landing spot.

Crenshaw also represents Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith, Washington Commanders edge rusher Chase Young and New York Giants edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.

The one commonality, of course, is the fact that all three of those stars play in the NFC East. So, could Hopkins be headed to one of Philadelphia, New York, Washington or Dallas?

If he were to end up in either Philly or Dallas, those two would be the most lethal spots for he and the respective team. Adding Hopkins to an offense that features A.J. Brown, Smith, Jalen Hurts and Dallas Goedert would be completely unfair. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott already having CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup and Tony Pollard, only to add Hopkins, sounds filthy to opposing defenses.

For Baltimore, Hopkins would definitely make them even more of a contender and be further reason to believe Lamar Jackson has the best year of his career. But, all we can do right now is continue to wait while the rumors and cryptic posts continue to leak, before finally seeing an end result.
