1. The Jacksonville Jaguars lost Christian Kirk

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to be without Christian Kirk for this game. While the rest of these players could come back, the Jaguars place Kirk on the IR with a core muscle injury. They have been shaky on offense since he left. Trevor Lawrence got injured holding the ball too long because Kirk’s backup ran the wrong route.

It could also be that the offensive line is not quite where it used to be, but the Jaguars are going to need some help at wide receiver. So far, they have called on Parker Washington, a sixth-round pick out of Penn State.

So far, he is averaging just 1.26 yards per route run. For comparison, Kirk was at 2.08 yards per route run, so there was a drop-off. This is major because the Ravens have had serious trouble defending slot receivers in recent weeks, and that is primarily where Kirk plays.

Could Washington get a little better now that he is in his third game, and does the offensive line upgrade potentially help the Jaguars pass better? Or have the issues of the past couple of weeks shown to be what will become of this offense without Christian Kirk?
