5. Is the Baltimore Ravens interior really playing better?

If there were an obvious concern for the Baltimore Ravens as of a couple of weeks ago, it would be the interior offensive line. Tyler Linderbaum is great, but both John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler have been the weak links, and that is a line that has had Patrick Mekari playing two positions.

Zeitler has looked old, and Simpson looks like someone the Ravens would cut for next to nothing. However, in recent weeks things started to come together. They were not great in London but started to gel in the Lions game. The Cardinals game was their perfect get-right game. Both Zeitler and Simpson were in positive matchups and both dominated as they rolled over Arizona.

Still, Seattle is a different test. They signed Jarran Reed and DreMont and traded for Leonard Williams with thoughts on improving the run game, and they did just that. Beyond that, they have Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks at the second level. That did not matter as both Simpson and Zeitler played well, ensuring their best two-game stretch of the year. It could not come at a better time, too.

Did these two use that game as a launching point, or is this a hot run, and both will sink back to reality?
