9. What will the Baltimore Ravens do at safety next week?
The Baltimore Ravens unfortunately saw both of their safeties leave the game against the Tennessee Titans. Kyle Hamilton was ejected after a helmet-to-helmet hit. Marcus Williams left the game with a hamstring injury. It had the Ravens put Brandon Stephens at safety after he started at cornerback. Then, they brought in Geno Stone, who had a key interception at the right time to lead the Ravens to a win.
Williams may miss time, while Hamilton should be back. So, the Ravens may be seeing Geno Stone starting once again. The Ravens once had to question what to do with Hamilton, but it is getting clear that they prefer him at safety. When Williams and Hamilton were healthy they both started and Arthur Maulet was in the slot.
The plan will be to keep Maulet in the slot, even if Williams returns. Stone played well, but they view him as the third safety, and they do not want to put Hamilton in the slot just to get Stone on the field. It looks like this will not be a question now.
