The Baltimore Ravens are getting ever closer to the 2024 NFL Draft, a time where they could restock at positions of need and try to add the difference-maker that will finally help them unseat the Kansas City Chiefs atop the AFC.

Baltimore has historically drafted well, as the Ozzie Newsome and Eric DeCosta eras have both produced quality starters on both ends of the ball, with Newsome slipping a championship ring on his finger. The Ravens are so tantalizingly close to doing so once again in 2024.

The Ravens are lucky in that they are armed with a good chunk of capital that can either be used to restock their roster with a bunch of quality young players or sent elsewhere as part of a bigger trade that reaffirms their status as a contender.

  • Round 2 (No. 62)

The Ravens don't have a sixth-round pick after trading it to the Cleveland Browns to select USC guard Andrew Vorhees. They did get a seventh-round pick from the Jets in exchange for veteran safety Chuck Clark, who unfortunately tore his ACL in the first week of offseason workouts.

The Ravens could add a later fourth-round selection via the compensatory pick system, as they are currently projected to get compensation for offensive guard Ben Powers after he signed a four-year contract with the Denver Broncos.

The Ravens currently have all their picks for 2025 in their possession, though they could easily whittle that collection down if a trade becomes available that helps them get the most out of Lamar Jackson's prime.

Perhaps a standout wide receiver becomes disgruntled and seeks a trade. Maybe a terrific pass rusher becomes too expensive for their respective team and looks to compete for a championship elsewhere. If these situations come to fruition, the Ravens shouldn't consider themselves married to any of these picks.
