Ravens first Week 4 injury report is stacked with offensive linemen
By Matt Sidney
We are already about one-quarter of the way done with the NFL season and that's bonkers-level crazy. Week 4 is here and another week means another injury report. Luckily for the Baltimore Ravens, this week's first report isn't too bad.
Albeit, it is the initial injury report, so things at this very moment are incredibly fluid. However, the Ravens will need all the help they can get as they play host to the 3-0 Buffalo Bills this Sunday night for a matchup that is bound to captivate audiences.
This game features two of the best quarterbacks on the planet: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and Bills QB Josh Allen. The stage is set for an epic showdown. There are only a few days left before we cue the Carrie Underwood Sunday Night Football track.
For now, here's Baltimore's first injury report ahead of Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills.
First Ravens injury report for Week 4 is filled with offensive lineman
Baltimore's first injury report going into Week 4 suggests the Ravens might not have an offensive line to play with on gameday. All joking aside, four offensive linemen appeared on the initial injury report. Unfortunately for Baltimore, all of them play a pretty decent role within the line.
While it's not a cause for concern just yet, it's only Wednesday, after all. However, it is something to keep an eye on for sure. The biggest name appearing on the list is starting center Tyler Linderbaum. He is apparently working through a knee injury. Linderbaum has easily been the team's best lineman this year. It will be interesting to see how he progresses throughout the week.
What's slightly concerning is the sheer amount of rotational pass-protectors on this report. It's nice that guard Daniel Faalele was able to fully participate as last week he finally showed that he can be a serviceable lineman for Baltimore.
Another notable name is linebacker Roquan Smith. Smith is dealing with an ankle injury. While he didn't miss practice altogether, he was limited. The Ravens will need him to be healthy for their matchup against the Bills, otherwise Josh Allen and co. will have a field day with this defense.
It's still a preliminary report, so it's not the be-all, end-all here. As things currently stand, some injuries need monitoring. Stick with us throughout the week as we update you daily on who's healthy and who's not for the highly anticipated matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
