The Baltimore Ravens have enjoyed a nice weekend off as they prepare for the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, but despite not playing, their odds to win Super Bowl 58 have improved.

Let's dive into them.

Ravens Super Bowl odds

Ahead of Wild Card Weekend, the Ravens were +350 at FanDuel Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl. Now, they sit at +270 ahead of the Divisional Round.

The change in the odds is likely due to the Texans upsetting the Browns in the opening round. Sportsbooks had the Browns set as 2.5-point favorites on the road, meaning they had Cleveland pegged as the better team. Now, the Ravens, in theory, have an easier matchup ahead of them in the Texans.

The Ravens beat the Texans by a final score of 25-9 in Week 1 whereas they had lost their latest meeting with the Browns by a score of 33-31.

The Ravens are now set at +270 odds to win the Super Bowl which is an implied probability of 27.03% of lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy. If you bet $100 on them, you'd win a profit of $270 of they're able to pull it off.

Will the Ravens win the Super Bowl?

The Ravens are the scariest team in the NFL right now and are rightful favorites to come out of the AFC. Here's where they rank in some key metrics:

  • Net Yards per Play: 3rd
  • Average scoring margin: 1st
  • Offensive EPA per Play: 6th
  • Offensive success rate: 4th
  • Opponent EPA per Play: 2nd
  • Opponent success rate: 6th
  • Points per game: 4th
  • Opponent points per play: 1st

While the Ravens aren't the best offensive team or the best defensive team, they're absolutely the most well-rounded, even more so than the Super Bowl favorites, the 49ers, who are only above average defensively.

The Ravens are the only playoff team who rank inside the top six in the NFL in offensive EPA and success rate as well as defensive EPA and success rate. That's good news for the Ravens and their fans. They have no glaring weakness or an area that opponents can attack.

Who will the Ravens Play in the Divisional Round?

The Ravens will welcome to Houston Texans in a rematch of their Week 1 showdown. The game will kick-off at 4:30 pm et on Saturday, January 20.

In the other Divisional Round game, the Chiefs will head to Buffalo to take on the Bills, or welcome the Texans to Arrowhead.

Texans vs. Ravens odds

The Ravens are set as 9.5-point favorites against the Texans with the total set at 45. Based on their -390 moneyline odds, the Ravens have an implied probability of 79.59% of beating the Texans and hosting the AFC Championship.
