The Baltimore Ravens may be one of the teams that is trying to be active at the trade deadline from the buying perspective. The team has a great record and is in first place in the division. With Lamar Jackson healthy anything can happen. It has fans looking for a big trade that would change the landscape. While that may not happen, a few smaller names could really take this roster to the next level.

4. The Baltimore Ravens could add Carl Lawson for a solid price

A lot of the fans want the big-name edge rushers like Chase Young and Danielle Hunter, but at the cost, this move could be as effective and less risky in the long term. The Jets hardly play Carl Lawson. He went from 58% of the snaps last year to 24% this year. He has not played a snap since week six. The emergence of last year's first-round pick Jermaine Johnson and trying to get this year's first-round pick Will McDonald involved more has limited any work Lawson has had.

So, Laweson is still pretty good; he just does not have a role on the Jets. Why not trade him to the Baltimore Ravens? Joe Douglas knows the Ravens organization, as well as GM Eric DeCosta, very well. The two go back to their days working with Ozzie Newsome.

Lawson will be a free agent this year, so the Jets have to decide to either sit him and have him just in case someone gets hurt and then let him walk for nothing or get something back, knowing they have enough depth to live without him. It makes too much sense.
