As we all patiently wait for football to finally return, at least the NFL preseason will be here for the Baltimore Ravens before we know it in early August. The Ravens won't be kicking off the start of the preseason for the entire NFL but their first game will be in the middle of August against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Ravens will have three matchups this preseason and hopefully, it'll give the football world a good glimpse of what to expect once football games that actually matter are here. Preseason action is fun to watch since you'll get to see first-team starters play a few reps and especially all those players on the roster bubble do their best to earn a final spot on the Ravens' 53-man roster.
Hopefully, the Ravens won't have any major injuries during the preseason and can get through it with no major issues. The positional battles we've been talking about for months will finally be over and by the time the regular season is here, the Ravens should have finalized a competitive and exciting roster to watch on game day.
When is the first NFL preseason game?
The first NFL preseason game of the season is officially on Thursday, Aug 3 at 8:00 PM ET between the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. This will be the Pro Football Hall of Fame game and will take place in Canton, Ohio.
