In 2024, the Baltimore Ravens had four players earn First-Team All-Pro honors as determined by the Associated Press (AP). Of the four Ravens All-Pros, who has the best chance to repeat in 2025?

4 - Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback

Previous All-Pros: 2019 First-Team, 2024 First-Team

Humphrey had a spectacular 2024 season. He doubled his previous career-high with six interceptions, including his first career pick-six. He tied a career-high with 15 pass breakups, and his patented “fruit punch” forced two fumbles. Even Pro Football Focus (PFF) agreed, putting Humphrey in their All-Pro team. He earned an 81.0 overall grade. Among the 27 cornerbacks who played at least 900 snaps, Humphrey ranked fourth in overall grade, ninth in run-defense grade, and second in coverage grade.

Standing in the way of Humphrey is a humongous cohort of excellent cornerbacks. Even before factoring in year-to-year volatility at the position, there are perhaps a dozen cornerbacks who could earn the All-Pro moniker this season. Last season, Patrick Surtain II and Derek Stingley Jr. joined Humphrey in the All-Pro team. Trent McDuffie and Christian Gonzalez made the second team. Humphrey could have something of an inside track as the de facto All-Pro slot cornerback, so his chances to repeat are far from zero.

3 - Roquan Smith, Linebacker

Previous All-Pros: 2020 Second-Team, 2021 Second-Team, 2022 First-Team, 2023 First-Team, 2024 First-Team

Smith’s strongest case is his reputation at this point. He has made five consecutive All-Pro teams, including three straight first-team selections. Last season’s selection was dubious, but Smith ended with stats in line with his career norms. He had one interception and a forced fumble. He had 150 tackles for the fourth season in a row, including 81 solo tackles.

Smith certainly played better as the season went on. For example, Smith finished 24th in overall linebacker PFF grade among those who played 50% of snaps. Excluding Week 1 from the equation moves Smith to 13th. The 28-year-old benefits from being a consensus top-three linebacker, but increased ball production would further enhance his candidacy for 2025. Surprisingly, Smith has only three career forced fumbles.

2 - Lamar Jackson, Quarterback

Previous All-Pros: 2019 First-Team, 2023 First-Team, 2024 First-Team

Last season, Jackson became just the ninth quarterback in NFL history to earn three First-Team All-Pro nods in his career. If he were to earn a fourth, he would join Peyton Manning (seven), Johnny Unitas (five), and Aaron Rodgers (four) in the four-plus club. Jackson had an outrageous season statistically, leading the NFL in touchdown percentage, yards per attempt, passer rating, and QBR.

The two-time MVP faces a tough challenge to three-peat. 2024 MVP (Second-Team All-Pro) Josh Allen poses the biggest obstacle, but two-time All-Pro Patrick Mahomes and 2024 passing leader Joe Burrow also have realistic chances. Jackson is capable of having another historic season, and he could return with revenge on his mind after finishing second in the MVP race.

1 - Patrick Ricard, Fullback

Previous All-Pros: 2023 Second-Team, 2024 First-Team

NFL voters seem to be familiar with two fullbacks. In the AFC, Ricard has made the Pro Bowl in five of six seasons, and he has been on both All-Pro teams since the AP resumed voting for fullbacks. In the NFC, former Raven Kyle Juszczyk has made nine straight Pro Bowls. For All-Pros, he flip-flopped with Ricard, earning first-team honors in 2023 and second-team honors last season. The 2025 All-Pro spot likely boils down to a coin flip between the incumbents.

Last season, Ricard led all fullbacks with 364 blocking snaps. While he will not be featured as a runner or pass-catcher in the Baltimore offense, he is the most likely fullback to be used as a blocker in the league. Ricard’s candidacy is largely up to voters’ preference between Ricard’s extra ability as a blocker compared to the bit of yardage Juszczyk provides.
