Baltimore Ravens Draft Prospects: Later Round Pass Rushers Who Would Be a Good Fit

Finally, a 3-4 guy! Mauldin was moved to OLB in 2014 and it was definitely the right move for him. His production improved as a result, and he finished the year with 6.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss. Mauldin has decent short distance speed, but isn’t as quick as other prospects after recording a disappointing 4.85 40 at the combine.
Mauldin has a high football IQ and he makes overlooked contributions in covering the flat and getting his hands in passing lanes. He has a fast motor and doesn’t give up. I hear Mauldin has a great work ethic and I like him as a system fit for the Ravens, though he is not as good an athlete as some other prospects who might have higher ceilings.
