The familiar (dynamic?) duo returns yet again, but can they both sustain health and play well simultaneously?  That seems easier said than done over the course of the last couple of seasons.  If they can pull it off, Smith/Webb will be a formidable cornerback duo that will solidify this defense’s position as one of the NFL’s best.

A top ten rated corner by Pro Football Focus prior to going down with his aforementioned injury, Smith is well on his way to ascending to top corner status in the NFL.  The Ravens are well aware of that fact, and it’s a big reason why they rewarded him with a massive new contract this offseason.

Webb, on the other hand, overcame the back woes that plagued him in the preseason but struggled until the latter part of 2014.  Webb graded out as only the 78th best corner out of 108 players, but received positive grades for 5 out of the last 7 games of the season, with the other two being close to neutral.
