2015 Baltimore Ravens Roster Breakdown: Defensive Line
By Brett Foote
Who will stick on the final roster?
There’s certainly no lack of depth on the defensive line, but injury concerns and youthful inexperience somewhat necessitate it. The Ravens went into 2014 with five defensive linemen on the roster, and I expect that to be close to the number in 2015 as well. Perhaps the Ravens will keep one less linebacker than last season to compensate.

Williams, Jernigan, Canty, Davis, and Smith are roster locks. I also doubt the Ravens will give up on Brent Urban after using a fourth round selection on him just a year ago. That leaves room for only one or two guys behind them.
Lewis-Moore faces a massive uphill battle as he tries to return from a serious surgery, and that may seal his roster fate. Guy, Biludiki, and Tyson are pretty much the same player. Expect the battle for the final roster spot to rage on through the offseason.
My early prediction for the final roster is Williams, Jernigan, Canty, Smith, Davis, Urban, and Tyson. Admittedly it’s a tough call for the last spot, but right now Tyson seems to have the trust of the coaching staff after playing more snaps (281) than either Guy (215) or Biludiki (47) last season.
