Welcome to the Daily Caw, where we round up all the latest Baltimore Ravens news from around the web.  As we enjoy the hot and very quiet (that’s a good thing) lull between minicamp and training camp, the debate over where Joe Flacco belongs on the list of top NFL quarterbacks carries on.  Speaking of minicamp, we’ve got five players who stood out, plus are the Ravens Super Bowl bound?

Is Joe Flacco among top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL?Jamison Hensley, ESPN

"Joe Flacco isn’t the flashiest quarterback in the NFL, but he’s come up big in the biggest games and is considered a “superstar” byBaltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh. However, some people still believe he’s overrated and overpaid. We take a look at whether he belongs in the top 10 among NFL quarterbacks."

Ravens know replacing Haloti Ngata won’t be easyClifton Brown, CSN Baltimore

"“You can’t replace a guy like that – a future Hall of Famer, one of the best to ever do it at that position,” Canty said. “And beyond that, just a good friend. It’s going to be tough having him not be a part of our group, not be a part of our defensive unit, not be a part of our football team, but we have to move on. We understand the nature of the NFL. It’s a great game; sometimes it can be an ugly business. We still love him, and sometimes we miss not having him in our room, but we wish him the best.”"

Joe Flacco and Steve Smith praise Jeremy ButlerTony Lombardi, Russell Street Report

"Jeremy Butler has been one of the bright spots during team OTA’s. He had an impressive camp in 2014 and he’s even picked it up a notch in 2015. A Ravens representative informed me that Butler performed similarly on the scout team in 2014 as a member of the team’s practice squad.Adding to the allure of Butler are two prominent Ravens.“Jeremy Butler [impressed]”, said Joe Flacco. “He might have had 1,500 yards in a three-day minicamp. He was incredible. He caught the ball extremely well.”To which Steve Smith, Sr. added, “Jeremy Butler – I don’t think he has dropped a pass all camp. He is doing a fantastic job.”"

Minicamp’s 5 standout playersBrian Bower, Russell Street Report

"The Ravens wrapped up minicamp last week, and the team will break for a little over a month before reporting for training camp in late July. While it’s truly hard to judge progress until they take the field during training camp, minicamp did provide a glimpse of some players to keep an eye on when the team reports back to the Under Armour Performance Center later this summer. Here are five players who stood out for all the right reasons during minicamp:"

Are the Ravens Super Bowl bound?Matthew Stevens, Baltimore Beatdown

"Last year was clearly a wakeup call to the coaches, players and front office that they have a special group here. Getting so close despite having a non-existant secondary is impressive for any team. Having the lead against the eventual Super Bowl champs, theNew England Patriots, is even more impressive. While the Patriots would eventually end up demolishing the Indianapolis Colts and barely squeaking by the Seattle Seahawks for the Lombardi, the Ravens were primed to be even better had they beaten the Patriots."
