5. Mike Wallace

The Ravens have been linked to Wallace thanks to a report by the NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala. Wallace is an interesting option because he has speed, speed that the Ravens could clearly use. Wallace was let go by the Minnesota Vikings after a disappointing 2015 season. Wallace caught 39 passes for 473 yards and just two touchdowns last season. The Ravens could get him at a bargain.

Should The Ravens Sign Mike Wallace?

If the Ravens sign Wallace there is very little risk. Wallace wouldn’t be the most expensive option. This is an opportunity for the Ravens to get a cheap player who could have a bounce back season. If Wallace can put up just his career average numbers, than the Ravens have an upgrade at the wide receiver position. This is a move the Ravens can make, that wouldn’t take them out of business this March. The Ravens may prefer to sign a cheap receiver and then attack another position.

This is something the Ravens have been reportedly interested in. It seems like it would happen at the right price, but there are better players available.
