NFL Draft: How Will the Ravens Approach the First Round?
Offensive Tackle
Cam Robinson (Alabama, 6’6″, 322 lbs) – This couldn’t be more of a Ravens type of decision. It’s a non-flashy, safe pick on a solid player that won’t garner much attention but addresses a major, if not the biggest, need nonetheless. Robinson is widely regarded as the best natural run blocker in the draft due to his powerful frame, strong hands and forceful strength. Greg Roman could find great use out of Robinson to bring physicality to an ailing run game. And if you don’t know already, Ozzie loves drafting players from Bama.
Ryan Ramczyk (Wisconsin, 6’6″, 310 lbs) – Another low-volume, high-impact move. Ramczyk has basketball-quick feet and strong play recognition ability. He plays with fluent body control and balance, which allows him to quickly adjust to defenders and accurately punch his hands. In the event that Cam Robinson comes off the board early, the Ravens may look towards Ramcsyk’s way.
