The Case For Bowser Is All About Versatility:

Bowser’s potential is rooted in the fact that he can do just about anything. If the Ravens moved him inside, he could be a phenomenal linebacker. If the Ravens keep him outside, he could become one of the best edge players in the league. Coming into the league, Bowser is a better run defender than Williams and he is better in pass coverage too. Williams is more of a pure pass rusher.

When Terrell Suggs came into the league it took him a while to become a complete player. Bowser will walk into his rookie season as a well rounded player. The adjustment to the NFL will be just as tough on Bowser than any other player. Making the transition to the pros, learning Dean Pees’s defense and stepping into a tougher level of competition is a challenge for anybody. Bowser comes at this transition with ability to do every task a linebacker can be asked to do. His floor is high and therefore his ceiling is high too.

Bowser has all the talent in the world. He should be the next big thing for the Ravens defense. His versatility is going to keep him on the field in a lot of different situations. Bowser therefore has the greater chance of making an impact.
