Projected Starters

Running Back: Terrance West

This position was in question early in the offseason, but the Dixon suspension changed that. Terrance West will now be the presumed starter for Week 1. Danny Woodhead should get a good amount of playing time but he is coming off a major knee injury. He is also not the kind of runner that Terrance West is. If the offense can stick to the run game West could very well reach 1,000 yards. He almost did it last year when the Ravens decided to abandon the run.

Fullback: Lorenzo Taliaferro

There’s a reason that Lorenzo Taiiaferro is still on the Ravens roster. He played fullback in college at Coastal Carolina before making the transition to running back. After a decent rookie season in 2014, he has seen virtually no game time over the last two years. With Juszczyk gone, the window is wide open for Taliaferro to step in. With his 230 pound frame, it makes him ideal for the position. There have been rumors of Nick Boyle as a possible candidate, but the previous back experience for Taliaferro gives him an edge.
