Eric Ebron

The only non-wide receiver on this list, Eric Ebron might have the purest talent of anyone in this group. If Ebron can find a way to put it all together, he could be something special. Unfortunately, all he’s been to this point in his career is a flash in the pan.

Entering the 2014 NFL Draft, Ebron was seen as a freak athlete for the position, reminding many of a young, poor man’s version of Vernon Davis. Since then, he has struggled with consistency as well as failing to live up to expectations.

That’s precisely why the Ravens could snag him on the cheap.

It’s easy to overlook the fact that Ebron had improved each season in his career. In 2016, Ebron nabbed 61 receptions for 711-yards. If he found his way to the end-zone more (one touchdown in 2016), he would’ve been a Pro Bowler!

Sometimes, guys just need a change of scenery to become what they could’ve been. Look at guys like Jerry Hughes of the Buffalo Bills. Hughes looked like a bust with the Colts, so they shipped him off to the Bills for Kelvin Sheppard (who?). The point is, the Ravens could snag Ebron and potentially find themselves a starting-caliber tight end. The talent is certainly there, perhaps Baltimore could harness it properly.
