The Baltimore Ravens have a bad week to be shorthanded in the secondary. There is a good chance that Marlon Humphrey won’t play. Humphrey has gotten to the point where he may be the second best cornerback on the team. Jimmy Smith should play in this one. If he doesn’t the Ravens would be in trouble. Seeing Smith on the injury report is nothing new, so let’s not freak out at the moment. The nagging Achilles injury is something he just has to keep pushing through.
The Ravens really need Ronnie Stanley in this game. Stanley is the best offensive lineman the Ravens have. The Lions pass rushers are able to get the job done on a weekly basis. Stanley has to not only be ready to go, but ready to play well.
Ravens listed as out:
- Jermaine Eluemunor (OG)
Okay, this one isn’t the end of the world. The Ravens are thin on the offensive line, but this one isn’t a game changer.
The Detroit Lions injury report:
The big thing here is the offensive line of the Lions. The Lions will be without Travis Swanson at the center position, look for Michael Pierce to do some work over the center. The pass rush is incredibly important in this game. The Lions offensive line will not be at full strength and it’s not that good of an offensive line in the first place. The Lions are a pass first team all the way. If Dean Pees doesn’t decide to bring the heat in this game, it would be really strange.
Lions listed as questionable:
- Ameer Abdullah (RB)
- T.J. Lang (OG)
Lions listed as out:
- Jamal Agnew (CB)
- Travis Swanson (C)
