Round four, pick 118. Marcell Ateman, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma State.

The Ravens offense arguably had the worst receiving core in the NFL in 2017. So, hitting on two wide receivers would be key. Seeing as how the receiving core could be getting particularly thinner. As Mike Wallace and Jeremy Maclin could possibly be wearing different uniforms in 2018 with Maclin having a player option and Mike Wallace being a free agent.

Its been a while since Joe Flacco has had a deep and red zone threat at his disposal. Marcell Ateman could certainly be used the way Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith were in this offense. A Wide Out that stands at 6’4, 220 lbs who has a go up and get it type of game. Watching his tapes and highlights you can’t help but be reminded of Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans. Ateman caught 59 balls for over eleven hundred yards, eight touchdowns and averaged just under 20 yards a catch this past season for The Cowboys. He did all of this while taking second fiddle to teammate James Washington who broke just about every record at Oklahoma St.

Next: The Ravens should be afraid of staying the same

Ateman most certainly has the potential to be a quarterback’s top target in the NFL. A prospect that I think has the potential to slip through the cracks come April in Dallas Texas. Getting a player like this on day three of the draft would be quite the gift. And this offense could use some presents.
