The Ravens Flock deserves something that they can be excited about. To be frank, the Ravens have given their fans nothing to hold onto going into the next season. Steve Bisciotti is keeping John Harbaugh and his staff. There doesn’t seem to be any change in the front office. From the outside it looks like the Ravens are stretching the limits of stubbornness and it’s borderline abusive to the fanbase. Landry would give the fans something. He would give the fans hope going into the NFL Draft.

The Ravens have to show the fans that they are trying to get better. The only real way to do that is to sign a superstar. If you think the franchise is okay with empty purple seats on Sundays, you’re wrong. They know they have to rejuvenate the fanbase. Instead of coming up with excuses for the empty seats, they need to take actions that fill the seats.

Landry would help fill seats:

No franchise should base decisions solely on the whims of the fanbase, but ignoring the fans is a fruitless endeavor. The Ravens know that Super Bowl seasons require that extra magic from a pumped up Baltimore. Steve Bisciotti, the fans are begging; give us a wide receiver that we’ve waited decades for.

The Ravens have never had a true number one receiver in his prime. The free agent Band-Aid approach has gotten more stale than anything ever could. The Ravens fanbase is sick and tired of watching guys like Antonio Brown, Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr., and saying “why can’t we have a player like that?” Fans demand a receiver that can wow them. For once, the Ravens should make every move they have to make and sign Jarvis Landry.
