Justin Tucker:

You can’t hand out game balls for the Baltimore Ravens without handing one off to Justin Tucker. The man is a legend in Charm City and in NFL history. Tucker is simply a man among boys at his position, as the 29-year old has been the Ravens offense since 2012. While that finally wasn’t the complete narrative in 2018, Tucker was still the most consistent factor in Baltimore’s point production.

More from Ebony Bird

In 2018, Tucker nailed 35/39 field goals, with two of his misses being blocked and his other two coming from 50+ yard attempts. That’s about as good as it gets, and Tucker is straight money. There are very few kickers in the league right now that remain reliable no matter the circumstances, but Tucker gives us almost no reason to ever worry.

If not for an uncharacteristic PAT miss vs. the Saints, Tucker was once again flawless in the PAT department. That miss has been the only PAT miss in Tucker’s seven-year career, a ridiculous 241/242 all-time.

Now headed back to the playoffs, Baltimore will once again count on Justin Tucker to nail the clutch field goals and help the team win close games. This is where Tucker is at his best, and we can safely assume he’ll continue to shine this post-season. Thanks to Justin Tucker, the Ravens are a threat to score points on any and every possession. Tucker is incredibly deserving of our third game ball and deserves one just about every year.
