Pass rusher:

If wide receiver is 1(A) on the list needs for the Ravens, pass rusher is 1(B).

Gone are Za’Darius Smith and Terrell Suggs, who combined for 15.5 sacks last season. Baltimor ewill have to find a way to replace that production. Rising star outside linebacker Matt Judon will certainly be looked on as the key clog for the pass rush production. Who will help him is the big question the Ravens must address.

Baltimore has a pair of third-year outside linebackers in Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams, both of whom have under-preformed their draft status so far. They should at least get every opportunity for reps to improve during the off-season with the depth chart thinner now. Luckily for the Ravens, they should have a good opportunity adding some pass rush help.

Justin Houston should be Ravens top target with Terrell Suggs leaving. light. Related Story

Remaining on the free agent market is former All-Pro Justin Houston. At the right price, Houston would make a ton of sense for the Ravens. Still only 30-years old, he would bring a veteran presence on defense with plenty of solid years of production left. Ebony Bird Site Expert Chris Schisler also agrees on Houston being a nice addition, as he wrote a piece on him earlier this week.

The Ravens could also look to the 2019 NFL Draft for help, where the edge position is littered with talent. Prospects like Florida State’s Brian Burns, Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell, and Lousiana Tech’s Jaylen Ferguson could be options for Baltimore, if they decide to select a pass rusher early in the 2019 NFL Draft.
