2. 50 receptions in his rookie season:
It’s hard to set a reasonable expectation for Brown. Rookie wide receivers rarely come into the league and instantly become superstars. Brown is expected to be ready when the Ravens kick off the season against the Miami Dolphins, yet that doesn’t mean things will start to click in September. The Ravens offense is supposed to be a run oriented offense and that could make production harder for wide receivers.

Brown should come into his rookie season with high hopes and shoot for a goal that won’t be reached easily. It’s like the saying goes, you have to shoot for the moon and if you miss you land among the stars. The Baltimore Ravens have an amazing fanbase, but let’s not pretend that they’re patient with first round picks. This is the pick that is supposed to cure the Ravens of their draft woes at wide receiver. 30 receptions and a couple touchdowns isn’t going to cut it.
50 receptions is a good objective for Brown to come into the season with. 50 receptions in his first season would be more than an acceptable total. It would fuel hope that the Ravens found a young star in the making at the wide receiver position. It would make a big impact on the 2019 Ravens as well. 50 receptions as a rookie could spark one of the most dynamic duos in football between Brown and Jackson.
