2. Chris Moore needs to keep producing as a wide receiver:

More from Ebony Bird

The Ravens need Chris Moore to keep producing as a wide receiver. This is a player who has been one of the most consistent players this preseason. Moore has six receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown. His biggest gain of the preseason was a 30 yard reception and he also has a nine yard rushing attempt. The Ravens have had no choice but to get playing time out of Moore in these games. Marquise Brown still hasn’t played in a game, and Seth Roberts has been dealing with an injury.

The Ravens may be shorthanded at wide receiver, yet they seem very inclined to test Moore. All offseason long everybody has been buzzing about Moore taking the next step. It seems like the Ravens are testing out whether that is a possibility. Moore is a fairly certain lock for a roster spot. That doesn’t mean his job in the offense doesn’t have to be earned. Moore can be more than a special teams stud and his play is proving that.

Moore offers the offense speed and reliable hands. It remains to be seen if Brown will suit up against the Eagles or for that matter the Miami Dolphins. Baltimore could need Moore to be a leader in the receiving corps in week 1 of the regular season. The Ravens need to keep seeing positive signs for Moore’s future as a receiver and not just as a gunner on punt team.
