Ravens who helped themselves against the Redskins
All of the running backs:
There was no Mark Ingram II, Justice Hill or Gus Edwards in this game. The Ravens knew they were the main trio for the backfield and gave the night to the rest of the running backs. They all put their best foot forward.

Kenneth Dixon may or may not make the team, but he looked the part in his last audition with the Ravens. Dixon 13 carries for 66 yards. Averaging just over five yards per rushing attempt is a good way to help yourself. Dixon showed that he has the ability to make a big play every time he touches the ball. He showed that he had the same burst that got the Ravens excited about him in the first place.
De’Lance Turner put in a similar stat line to Dixon. Turner is such an explosive runner. He hits the rushing lane hard and he has one speed. It’s exciting to see but it’s probably not enough to make the 53 man roster. Turner belongs in the league, and if Justice Hill didn’t get drafted by the Ravens this year, this could have been a roster spot securing performance. Turner may have turned heads somewhere else in the NFL.
Tyler Ervin did a good job as a punt returner, even though he didn’t do anything all that flashy. His special teams value gives him a chance. Ervin may give the Ravens the least out of the backfield. With Ervin it really depends on what the Ravens want from the fourth running back.
