Player to keep riding: RB – Mark Ingram

In my Fantasy Football Friday preview I had Mark Ingram getting over his projected fantasy total of 10.3 points as I though he would score a touchdown. Well I under-sold Ingram, he dominated his way to three touchdowns on Sunday. Along with 103 rushing yards and 32 receiving yards, Ingram was the number 1 fantasy running back this week.

Ingram continues to show everyone that he was such an underrated signing for the Ravens. He is 1st in touchdowns with 5, 5th in rushing yards with 257, and 4th in yards per carry with 5.98. Through three weeks, Ingram is RB4 on the season for fantasy. If you were able to get him in the 4th or 5th round in your draft, you got an absolute steal. Ingram is a safe bet for at least 15 touches per week and is well on this way to scoring double-digit touchdowns. The bruising back is a top-12 running back rest of season.

Player not to worry about: TE – Mark Andrews

After racking up back-to-back 100+ yard games in his first two outings, Andrews fell back to earth with an underwhelming three catches for 15 yards performance against Kansas City. If you had Andrews as your TE you definitely started him, so you were disappointed on Sunday. However, i would not put much stock into his day. First, Andrews was game-time decision with a foot injury and it showed as he didn’t really look 100% running around.

Even with being hobbled, Andrews still lead in Ravens TE group with 44 snaps and 7 targets. Andrews’ role is still very clear, he is Jackson’s favorite target. It was just an off day for Jackson until the 4th, also factoring in the injury to Andrews, I give him a pass this week. He should be ranked as the 4th or 5th TE most weeks and you should not worry about starting him as long as his foot injury doesn’t linger.
