Game ball number 3: Mark Ingram II

Despite having a fumble, fighting for extra yardage, Mark Ingram II did a lot to help Baltimore win this one. He had 115 yards on just 15 carries. He set up the Ravens for a touchdown with a run over 50 yards. Ingram also caught two passes for 29 yards. There was one negative and a lot of positive. His fumble isn’t good, however it came because he wouldn’t give up on a play. Ingram ran right at the Patriots defense and helped set the tone for the game.

When you average almost eight yards per carry, you can have a game ball as a running back. When you’re the leading rusher of a team that put up 210 total rushing yards, you deserve a game ball. Ingram was an essential part of the plan for the Ravens and they got the most they could out him today. The Ravens running game is one of the main components of how the Ravens beat the Patriots. Ingram and Jackson led the way. They showed that the running game of this offense is going to churn out yards against any defense.
