3. Six Current Ravens make the list:

Six current Ravens made the cut, which shouldn’t be surprising after the best regular season record in franchise history. The following current members of the purple and black are included on the All-Time team:

There really couldn’t be any other names for the three special teams players. As good as Matt Stover was, he was no Justin Tucker. The “Wolfpack” had to be part of the all-time team, especially considering they’ve been working together since 2012. Koch has been with the Ravens since 2006 and Cox 2010. How many teams have this kind of longevity for their special teams stars?

We’ve already talked about Jackson, so let’s talk about Ronnie Stanley and Marlon Humphrey. Stanley is clearly the second best offensive tackle in Ravens history. Nobody is topping Jonathon Ogden, yet Stanley might be the best offensive tackle in the league right now. He’s easily a top five offensive lineman in football. In terms of offensive tackles in Ravens history, it’s hard to say anybody is all that close to Stanley’s number two ranking.

Marlon Humphrey beat out some very good players including Duane Starks, Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb. Humphrey’s reason for being on this list is very much the same as Stanley’s; he is a top five player at his position. Chris McAlister was the top cornerback on the All-Time Team.

In addition to six current Ravens there was a strong Super Bowl XLVII presence on the All-Time 25 team. These are the players from the Ravens last Super Bowl win. Counting Tucker, Koch and Cox, the Ravens had 10 players from the  2012 Super Bowl season. Counting Ray Lewis who was a part of both Super Bowls, the Super Bowl XXXV team had seven players on the list. Basically if they didn’t win a ring with the Ravens or aren’t a current part of the team, they aren’t on this list with the exception of Steve Smith Sr., Todd Heap and C.J. Mosley.
